La divertentissima e grande Katy Perry ha già in cascina tre singoli che sono stati apprezzati da critica,fan,giovani e meno giovani.Una cantante che piace più o meno a tutti,la sua musica è innovativa e orecchiabile,una vera scoperta del 2008 in cui ha visto la consacrazione(non c'e ne era bisogno!)di Madonna che è sua fan accanita e l'ha eletta come sua erede(io dico che Katy è più brava..).Forse il tormentone estivo dell'anno scorso non gli è bastato e così ha lanciato in tutto il mondo un nuovo singolo che farà molto successo e si candida ad essere una delle hit principali di questa estate.Il singolo si chiama "Waking Up In Vegas" e racconta un pò come è la vita nei dintorni di Las Vegas e prende un pò la storia di tutti i giocatori d'azzardo sognatori che vanno in cerca di fortune e alla fine si ritrovano con pochi spicci per tornare a casa.Anche il video,va in simbiosi con il testo della canzone e offre una Katy in versione giocatrice d'azzardo accanto a un uomo decisamente "brutto"che l'accompagna in tutte le sue avventure..All'inizio i 2 sono molto poveri ma giocando a un video poker si ritrovano con i soldi giusti per farsi una gitarella a Las Vegas.Proprio lì guadagneranno molti soldi e si sposeranno(per finta) ma alla fine tutto il lusso che avevano acquisito andrà via e ritorneranno come prima..Sembra la storia di Cenerentola ma rifatta in modo ironico e meno fiabesco..Complimenti al regista del videoclip ma anche a Katy sempre più accattivante nei video e soprattutto a livello artistico in cui si merita un grande plauso..Sotto trovate testo e video..Buon divertimento!
