Il fenomeno musicale del 2009 in Europa e in America torna con un nuovo singolo che sa già di tormentone.Sto parlando di Flo Rida e del suo clamoroso successo nell'anno corrente.Infatti,è stato degno di nota il suo esordio in coppia con T-Pain nella canzone "Low" nel 2007 ma è assolutamente eccezzionale quello che è riuscito a fare con il singolo "Right Round" nella primavera 2009.Il nuovo singolo dell'estate 2009 è "Sugar" in coppia con Wynter e tratto dall'ultimo album ".Questa canzone seppur appartenente al genere rap per i ritmi molto veloci e la parlantina quasi indecifrabile,è orecchiabile al punto che si può definire una delle candidate alla palma di miglior canzone dell'Estate.La voce di Wynter la rende perfetta e anche la sonorità estiva è un punto a suo favore.Flo Rida(Tramar Dillard )ha saputo creare questa canzone con influenze addirittura dance e per questo è anche molto ballabile.Poi ascoltandola vi accorgerete che qualcosa d'italiano c'è in questa canzone,ed è la ripresa delle parole(sample)della mitica "I'm blue"degli Eiffel 65 che ci aveva fatto ballare nell'anno 2001.L'unico difetto che trovo è la ripetizione delle parole più volte,soprattutto con Wynter.Che ne dite?Può diventare un tormentone estivo?Vi propongo testo e video....

Cobra Starship-Good Girls Go Bad(lyrics,testo+video)

Tornano i Cobra Starship e lo fanno veramente alla grande con un pezzo che promette un successo mondiale grazie anche alla straordinaria partecipazione di Leighton Meester,Blair nel famoso telefilm americano"Gossip Girl".Il pezzo è veramente orecchiabile ed è adatto alla stagione estiva oltre ad essere un perfetto mix di synth e electro pop,genere che è ritornato in voga nel 2009 e promette di essere una delle colonne portanti dell'Estate con molti pezzi attinenti.Ritornando alla band americana,si può affermare che è il loro miglior pezzo sino ad adesso e a mio parere batte anche Guilty Pleasure,che è stato un'autentico capolavoro per chi ascolta questo tipo di musica,contenuto nel buon album "Viva La Cobra!"."Good Girls Go Bad" rispecchia la crescita a livello musicale della band con un deciso avvicinamento all'elettropop e un'allontanamento dal pop/punk che li aveva caratterizzati sia nei live dei concerti dei Fall Out Boy,dove suonano ancora come supporto e sia negli album "viva la cobra!"e "While The City Sleeps,We Rule The City".Gabe Saporta,il leader della band,finalmente abbandona gli aiuti troppo opprimenti di TravisMcCoy e dei Fall Out Boy e riesce a tirare fuori un singolo che valorizza la straordinaria voce di Leighton e soprattutto le tastiere come ha fatto ottimamente nel singolo "Kiss My Sass".L'unico peccato è il poco valore che viene dato in Europa a questa band che merita tutto,visti i risultati buoni in un mercato difficile come quello americano. Speriamo che il singolo sia il trampolino di lancio che renda ottime le vendite(anche qui in Europa)dell'album in uscita a Settembre,"Hot Mess".Vi lascio al testo e al video non ufficiale(con immagini del telefilm Gossip Girl e anche Leighton) della canzone.
